If you would like to cut a simple box or border around a design, it is easy to set one up in VinylMaster. This can come in handy when you are trying to create a stencil with paint mask, for example.

1. Once you have the design you want create a border around, click the shapes button, and choose your desired shape for the border.

2. Resize the shape to cover all of the parts of the design that you wish to have a border.

3. To see how it will look when you cut it, change the object display setting to Wireframe Fill, then you can make adjustments so that it looks how you want.

4. Once you have the border how you like it, you are ready to cut!
