Generally it depends upon how the vinyl is placed into the cutter and the pinch rollers used. The smallest movements are needed to track with very minimal deviation. You mainly will roll out about 2 feet and you can see the deviation and would be able to make the corrections and then try to run the same amount again with less deviation. Also, give your vinyl cutter about an inch less from the logo that you are cutting out to account for the small amount of deviation which would leave 1/2 inch on the left and the right.
