You are able to create your own images to cut with the Silhouette Studio software. There are simple line drawing tools built into the Silhouette software that will allow you to do so from within the Silhouette program. The Silhouette Studio Designer Edition is intended for users who want to explore further design features and unlock their creativity in designing their own images. It allows users of other vector imaging programs (such as Adobe Illustrator®, CorelDraw® or Inkscape) to import SVG files they have created with these other software programs. The Silhouette Studio Designer Edition is a version of Silhouette Studio. As such, it retains all of the capabilities of the basic Silhouette Studio software. It is not a completely different program but rather an upgraded version of the Silhouette Studio software.
